Mindful Give is a donation platform for Canadian charities. It moves real money — recurring gifts, tap-to-donate terminals, official CRA tax receipts. AI built its software: 178,000 lines, live and taking donations less than 30 days after the first commit. AI maintains it too, shipping to production roughly 300 times every 90 days, each release gated by 2,700+ automated tests. One person manages it. That person is me.

It wasn't the first time. During COVID, I built Venture Safe — the health information system that ran testing logistics for Alberta's film industry. I built it without being a programmer, on no-code and low-code platforms, run with the discipline I learned in thirty years of operations. Even then, it took a full-stack developer and a junior for everything those tools couldn't handle. Today it wouldn't.
The tools changed. The management discipline didn't. AI just removed the ceiling.
